# tw-epic-spinners v2 > 20 composable, pure-CSS loading spinners for Tailwind CSS v3 and v4. Framework-agnostic and MIT licensed. Start with a baseline, add or remove items, and make it your own. This site documents version 2.0.0. Use the v2 documentation for current markup; v1 examples and the removed creator() helper are not compatible with v2. The spinner animations require modern CSS sibling-count() and sibling-index(). These became Baseline Newly available in August 2026; older browsers may not work. Tailwind v3 compatibility does not imply older-browser support. ## Documentation - [Complete v2 documentation, Markdown](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/docs.md): Installation for Tailwind v3/v4, composable markup, size/duration syntax, accessibility, browser requirements, migration, and baseline HTML for all 20 spinners. - [v2 documentation, HTML](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/docs): The same documentation with highlighted code and links to the Lab. - [Installation](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/docs#installation): Install tw-epic-spinners@2.0.0 and register the Tailwind plugin. - [Composable Approach](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/docs#composable-approach): A spinner- container with repeated direct spinner-item children. CSS adapts layout and animation to their count; keep unrelated siblings and loading labels outside. - [Utils](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/docs#utils): spinner-size-* follows Tailwind size-* for the whole footprint; spinner-duration-* follows duration-* for animation cycles. Use text-* for color. Tailwind v4 supports numeric, arbitrary, and CSS-variable values; v3 uses configured scales and arbitrary values. - [Compatibility](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/docs#compatibility): Browser requirements and Baseline status. - [Accessibility](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/docs#accessibility): Decorative spinners use aria-hidden="true" with a separate accessible loading label. Animations pause for prefers-reduced-motion. - [Migration from v1](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/docs#migration-from-v1): Replace creator() and fixed markup with ordinary HTML or templates containing spinner-item children. Size now describes the whole spinner. ## Examples and Lab - [Spinner collection](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/#collections): All 20 baseline designs. - [Live HTML Lab](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/labs): Edit, format, copy, and reset markup with a sandboxed preview. Size/duration utilities compile live; there is no CSS tab. - [Flower baseline in the Lab](https://tw-epic-spinners.mthaip.com/labs?spinner=flower): Select any catalogue name with the spinner query parameter. Invalid or missing names fall back to flower; markup formats automatically on load, selection, and reset. The designs are flower, pixel, hollow-dots, intersecting-circles, orbit, radar, scaling-squares, half-circle, trinity-rings, fulfilling-square, circles-to-rhombuses, semipolar, self-building-square, swapping-squares, fulfilling-bouncing-circle, fingerprint, spring, atom, looping-rhombuses, and breeding-rhombus. Copy complete baseline markup from the documentation; keep at least its item count when preserving the supplied appearance. ## Project - [npm package](https://www.npmjs.com/package/tw-epic-spinners): Package versions and installation. - [Source code](https://github.com/mthaip/tw-epic-spinners): Tailwind plugin implementation, demo, and issues. - [MIT license](https://github.com/mthaip/tw-epic-spinners/blob/develop/LICENSE): License terms. - [Original inspiration: EpicMax / epic-spinners](https://github.com/epicmaxco/epic-spinners): Original spinner designs, reimplemented here as a composable Tailwind plugin. ## Optional - [Archived v1 documentation](https://tw-epic-spinners-v1.mthaip.com/docs): Historical reference for v1 only; use the migration guide for upgrading.
